About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As our Hospital Receptionist/Concierge, you will be vital to the smooth running of our facility. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Answering all incoming calls to the main hospital line, triaging and efficiently transferring calls.
- Acting as the first point of contact for '55 Emergency' calls, escalating emergencies to the appropriate code teams or urgent enquiries to the on-site manager or after-hours nurse manager.
- Greeting and assisting patients, visitors, and staff, always ensuring a positive first impression of the hospital.
- Providing clear directions and support across all hospital departments, including mental health, surgical, endoscopy, and medi-hotel areas.
- Maintaining accurate visitor logs and managing check-in/check-out procedures.
- Liaising with clinical staff regarding scheduled patient arrivals and managing patient queries.
- Accepting or redirecting deliveries, mail, and courier items.
About You
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in a reception, concierge, or high-volume customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional ability to manage sensitive and emergency situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A compassionate and proactive approach to service
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in private healthcare sector
